About Perry

Perry Johnson is a commercial photographer, artist, and teacher. He started photographing in 1975 and has had his own photo business since 1986. From managing college darkrooms to photo equipment sales to owning a commercial photography business he has seen the workings of business as it relates to both fine and commercial art. His specialty of architectural photography has been published and printed throughout California, and have included awards from the American Institute of Architects.

Perry is an artist working with photography and installation, and is skilled in all formats from 35mm to 4X5. He has recently started to integrate video and sound into his photographic works.

Perry is also a teacher and has presented courses and seminars on computer software programs for the last nine years to groups including the State of California, the United States Federal Government, the University of the Pacific, and the Marriott Corporation. Participants have praised his ability to bring topics to life, in a relaxed environment with a knowledgeable, professional, and patient manner.

Perry is a graduate of the University of the Pacific with two degrees, one in International Studies and the second in Business.
